Refund & Cancellation Policy

All services sold by Four Trimesters are generally non-refundable. Exceptions are outlined below by service type.

Antenatal Classes

  • Class fees are non-refundable once payment has been made.
  • If you are unable to attend a scheduled class, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate rescheduling where capacity allows, but this cannot be guaranteed.

Doula Services — Birth & Postpartum

Cancellation by Client

  • Unused prenatal sessions and postnatal visits may be refunded or credited, less applicable administrative and bank charges.
  • All on-call time, early labour support, birth attendance, and travel that have commenced are non-refundable.

Failure to Provide Service

Unavoidable circumstances e.g. precipitous birth or medical emergency preventing attendance — we will attend as soon as possible at no additional charge. No refund will be issued.
Our error Failure to attend due to an error on our part — a refund will be issued as stipulated in your doula contract, less bank charges.
Client error Failure to notify us in time — no refund will be issued.

Additional Services

  • Additional prenatal or postnatal visits, after-hours surcharges, transport surcharges, and equipment rental are invoiced separately. Please refer to your doula contract for details.

Breastfeeding Consultations

  • Consultation fees are non-refundable.
  • Rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

Placenta Encapsulation

  • Non-refundable once the placenta has been collected and processing has commenced.
  • If you decide not to proceed before collection, a cancellation fee may apply to cover administrative costs.

Lactation Cookies

  • All food product sales are final and non-refundable.
  • If you receive a damaged or incorrect order, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt at iwantagoodbirth@fourtrimesters.com.
