I take great responsibility and sincerity in my care to a mother
and her loved ones, to show my compassion, and
share my resources and knowledge to support them with what
they need to have a confident step forward into the next chapter of their lives.
I ♥ being a Doula because...
I admire women and the power they hold…
to not only give birth, but to do so in a way
that they desire and believe in.

Brene' Brown once said “We don’t have to do all of it alone, we were never meant to”
This could not be a truer statement for childbirth and is why I am so passionate about supporting families through their birth experience. Born and raised in Alaska, USA - and a mother of two amazing, energetic children alongside my dear Husband for nearly 10 years, our family relocated from the US to Singapore in early 2016, where I decided to become a stay-at-home-mom.
In August 2017 after the birth of our second child, a son, we were able to experience an incredible gift where he was born in the water within the peaceful serenity of the Birth Sanctuary here in Singapore. With a pair of exceptionally wonderful doulas by our side, they supported each of us in the individual way that we needed throughout our labor, delivery, and early postpartum. I am still beyond words of gratitude for the irreplaceable energy they brought to the room, to pull us through and to help us achieve the birth journey that we had only dreamt of. My personal experience of having a doula was my direct inspiration to become a doula myself, and I have a burning desire to pay-it-forward to those so deserving of the birth experience they desire and guiding them throughout the process.
Being a Doula has been one of my most cherished and heartwarming endeavours and is so much more than a vocation. It's a purposeful mission. I absolutely love the heart-work of being a Birth and Postpartum Doula because I genuinely admire women and the power they hold… to not only give birth, but to do so in a way that they desire and believe in. The experience of birth isn’t just about a son or daughter being born; it is also the coming of new parents, grandparents, and siblings. I take great responsibility and sincerity in my care and compassion to a mother and her loved ones. I’ll share my resources and knowledge to support them with what they need to have a confident step forward into the next chapter of their lives.
