I admire women and the power they hold… to not only
give birth, but to do so in a way that they desire and
believe in. The experience of birth isn’t just about a son
or daughter being born; it is also the coming of new
parents, grandparents, and siblings.

About Me: Born and raised in Alaska, USA - I am a mother of two amazing, energetic children and I have been married to my dear Husband for nearly 10 years. Together as a family, we have a passion for travel, the outdoors, staying active, and love to explore new things!

My family relocated from the US to Singapore in early 2016, when I decided to become a stay-at-home-mom. Later, in August 2017, our son was born in the peaceful serenity of the Birth Sanctuary here in Singapore. With a pair of exceptionally wonderful doulas by our side, they supported each of us in the individual way that we needed throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum. I am still beyond words thankful for the irreplaceable energy they brought to the room, to pull me through and to help me achieve the birth story I had dreamt of. My personal experience of having a doula was my instant inspiration to become a doula myself.

My journey to becoming a Doula has been a privileged and heartwarming endeavor. I admire women and the power they hold… to not only give birth, but to do so in a way that they desire and believe in.  The experience of birth isn’t just about a son or daughter being born; it is also the coming of new parents, grandparents, and siblings. I take great responsibility and sincerity in my care to a mother and her loved ones, to show my compassion, and share my resources and knowledge to support them with what they need to have a confident step forward into the next chapter of their lives.

“We don’t have to do all of it alone, we were never meant to” – B. Brown
